Prof. Dr. Marco Hutter
Director of Robotic Systems Lab, ETH Zürich
Marco Hutter is Professor of Robotic Systems and Director of the Centre for Robotics at ETH Zurich. He has headed the Zurich office of the RAI Institute since 2024. His research interests lie in the development of novel mobile robots and their intelligence to operate autonomously in complex environments. Together with his team, he has realised a series of walking robots, mobile manipulators and autonomous excavators that are used in industrial inspection, construction, forestry, household assistance and extraterrestrial exploration, among others. Marco is co-founder of several ETH start-ups, such as ANYbotics AG and Gravis Robotics AG.

Prof. Dr. Roland Siegwart
Director of Autonomous Systems Lab, ETH Zürich
Roland Siegwart is Professor of Autonomous Mobile Robots at ETH Zurich, Co-Director of Wyss Zurich and a board member of several companies, including Komax and NZZ. He studied mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich, worked in a spin-off company, was professor at EPFL for ten years (1996-2006), visiting professor at Stanford University and NASA Ames and Vice President for Research and Corporate Relations at ETH Zurich (2010-2014). He is an IEEE Fellow and recipient of the IEEE RAS Pioneer Award, the IEEE RAS Inaba Technical Award and the Ernst Blickle Prize. He is among the world's most cited researchers in robotics, co-founder of more than half a dozen start-up companies and a strong promoter of innovation and entrepreneurship in Switzerland. His research interests focus on the development and control of intelligent travelling, walking and flying robots that perform tasks autonomously in complex and dynamic environments.

Markus Streckeisen has been an independent member of the Board of Directors for companies in the mobility, logistics, real estate, retail and catering sectors since 2021. He previously worked for SBB AG for almost three decades, most recently as Chief Transformation Officer, Head of Sales, Member of the Executive Board and Deputy CEO of SBB Cargo AG. He also heads the MAS in Real Estate Management at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (HWZ).
